These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through dark-forest.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

Products

Dark Forest sells fragranced products intended for atmospheric use and, where clearly stated, cosmetic use. Each product description specifies its intended purpose. Products must be used only as directed. It is the customer’s responsibility to read all descriptions, safety guidance, and usage instructions before use.

Cosmetic Products (Where Applicable)

Where a product is classified as a cosmetic, it will be formulated in accordance with applicable UK Cosmetic Regulations. Ingredient information and required safety details will be provided as required by law. Customers are advised to perform a patch test before first use. Dark Forest cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions resulting from misuse, failure to follow instructions, or known personal sensitivities.

Orders & Contract Formation

Placing an order through this website constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when your order has been dispatched and a confirmation email has been sent. Dark Forest reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders where necessary, including but not limited to pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected misuse of products.

Pricing & Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£). Payment is processed securely via Stripe and/or PayPal. Dark Forest does not store payment card information.

Delivery

Orders are typically dispatched within 2–3 working days unless otherwise stated. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Dark Forest is not responsible for delays caused by postal services or circumstances beyond reasonable control. Delivery is currently available within the United Kingdom unless otherwise stated.

Returns & Cancellation

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving goods. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing within that period. You then have a further 14 days to return the item. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods.

Returned items must be unused and in their original condition. For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened fragranced oils, used cosmetic products, or items where the safety seal has been broken. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Faulty Goods

If goods arrive damaged or faulty, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Photographic evidence may be requested before issuing a refund or replacement.

Liability

Dark Forest’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
